Welcome to the 2025/2026 school year!
There are many ways to get involved in your school and we want to highlight some of the events and activities organized by the School Advisory Council (SAC) and volunteers. The following is a snapshot of some of the opportunities to meet and get to know other parents, school staff and your child’s peers. SAC events raise money to help fund many of the activities, technology and equipment for the school that make your child’s experience at Cedarvale even more exceptional.

School Advisory Committee (SAC) meetings:
Monthly SAC meetings allow parents to hear first-hand what is happening in the school, the plan for upcoming initiatives and to bring new ideas forward. Our Principal will give a report about classroom activities and new initiatives. The SAC committee gives updates on SAC related activities and brings forward proposals/requests for expenditures. This is a great way to give input into your school community. Bring a friend! We love to see both experienced and new faces. We hope to see you there! All dates listed above.

How to get involved: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!

Volunteers are an integral part of running Cedarvale SAC.  There are many ways to get involved in small and large capacities. For example, volunteering for pizza lunch, Bingo night, or heading up one of the many committees mentioned below. Please see the descriptions of all the ways you can help.  We are appreciative of your support and any time that you can offer.
